Tokyo Fashion Fest

I really like lots of Japan fashion styles, so I decided to attend this event in order to know a little bit more about them. The show was held at Dai Hall auditorium in APJ center. A friend and I entered as guests (thanks to my friend Kimiko Haru).

Well, the exposition of each Japanese style was very complete and well elaborated. They talked about the famous ones such as Gyaru, Lolita and Visual Kei. But, they also mentioned the new trends presented in Harajuku street, such as Fairy Kei, Pastel Goth, Creepy Cute, Mori Kei, Dolly Ice and Culty Party Kei.

After this, there was a catwalk. It was pretty interesting because we got to see outfits of each trend. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. For example, now I'm going to research more about Pastel Goth and Creepy Cute because I've seen some of their variants in European and American fashion, so I may try a little bit of their style as well.

The event lasted for 2 hours with a 10 minute break. After that we could take pictures with the expositors and the models. I really like also the music they used during the event, for example they played PONPONPON by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. I like that song a lot, it's very sweet.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera OTL. So I only have selcas I took when I arrived home :c I'm sorry. I promise I won't ever forget again TT The pictures I'm posting are from Yu.Photography. You can check more pictures by clicking here.

Well, that's for today. Have a good weekend!

P.S: Don't mind my disheveled hair. It was very windy today lol

I'm feeling lucky

Did I tell you that I won 2 coupons of 150 soles each to buy clothes in TheCity Mode? :D

Well, yes. I received the news last week. At first I was very shock then I just screamed like crazy. It’s very rare for me to win something, but this time luck was by my side.

Anyway, I received my coupons last Saturday. I arrived to Katherine’s home (one of the admins of the page) in the afternoon. I thought they were going to give me the coupons and I would comeback another day to swap it, but big was my surprise when she came down with two full rail mobile wardrobes. I was like: “Wow, I’m going to buy for free now”.

After trying the clothing I chose 1 maxi skirt, 2 bodies (the white one and the animal print one), 2 straps and a beautiful dress. And that’s how I spent 297 soles in a blink. And I still have 3 soles of discount for my next buy haha.

I wanna thank the shop for this amazing price. And if you liked something I got, you can contact them through their facebook page.

Finally, I must say, there is nothing sweeter than shopping without paying a single cent lol. Have a good day.

Meet the place where KHJ is going to perform

As you might already know, KHJ is going to perform this Feb 25th in Lima, Peru. But, what you might not know is that the so called "Explanada" of "Parque de la Exposición" (a public park) is actually a parking lot.

Last week, my friend and I went to the park to find out where really was Hyun Joong going to perform because we knew that in this place there is an auditorium, but we've never heard of a "Explanada" (esplanade). After going around without having anybody to give us a reason about it, we found two park keepers and we asked them where the Explanada was. They told us that whenever they had an event in the esplanade, they closed the parking lot, they put up tents and that was where the event was hold. That was pretty shocking. I must say. Well, I guess it was kind of hard to find a big place in no time.

According to the park keepers, they might set the stage either to the left or the right side. I believe is going to be to the right side (third picture) in order to about curious to watch the show. Anyway, the whole place is going to be closed and they might put awning around it so people won't be so overwhelmed by the sun (Damn summer).

Well, I still thing Green peas won't mind because they are going to have him anyways and the producer said the light effects is going to be extraordinary and there is also going to be a big led screen. Plus, recently we've been informed that 5 lucky girls will come up the stage to meet Hyun. And the leader is going to sing for 1 lucky fan. Plus he is going to perform around 12 songs ("Because I'm stupid" and "Love like this" are confirmed, too).

So, if you wanna go, you can still buy your tickets by clicking here.

Valentine's day my ass

My only love will always be myself lol.

The only reason why I would like to have a boyfriend is to have him buying me things lol I'm a very independent woman and I think I don't need (at least not now) a man next to me. I'm not like every girl. I don't wanna marry nor wanna have kids. I'm just a free spirit that will live just by herself.

You may say, "Ok, you are still young to think about that". I mean, my grandma and my mother both tell me that. But, you know what? I'm pretty stubborn... So, we will see how things will work out in a future for me. Maybe I will find someone (a soul mate if you wanna call it that way) that might change my point of view, or maybe I won't. Since I'm always avoiding commitments I think that person should be stubborn as well lol.

Anyway, these are just so random thoughts. By the way, if you are curious. All the papers say "Andrea". The yellow one is in Chinese and the white one is in Japanese. I didn't put the Korean one cause that one is easy/I already use that too much.

Have a nice day!

P.D: I'm not trying to be offensive to anyone. Peace and love!

Shopping day!

Yesterday, my mother, my sister and I went shopping from 10am to 10pm. Pretty long day!

We first went to Jesus Maria (the place I bought my nail polishes last time) to get some cosmetic product such as a Nivea make-up remover (at Juanita store), a nail fortifier polish, a Pond's cream and a Korean facial mask (yup, I bought this in Peru. I was also surprised when I found about this and it's just $2). I bought the last two products at my favorite store so far: Andrea. It's a very cheap store with so much variety and it has my name on it! LOL

Then we went to C.C. Caminos del Inca to buy some clothing. But the only thing I bought was my high waisted black shorts. I bought them at Ultra Lola store for $50. Then, we made a stop to have some snacks. Actually, my sister made me buy her a cheesecake since she was hungry. But, we ended up eating it together lol. We ate at Pikeos Cafe, such an AMAZING cheesecake. The amazing thing about it is the fact that it has oreo inside! Delicious. Too bad I'm on a diet, so I'm not planning to go back till I get the figure I want.

Anyway. Later we moved to a vintage store, Lovely Vintage, in Jesus Maria again. I bought there my moustache pink t-shirt for 15$. The reason why we kept moving from a way to another is that my mother had some meetings so our shopping route was defined by her work lol.

Finally, we came back to the Accu shopping center in Jesus Maria to buy a bustier (the blue one in the picture above) for $15. It looks so nice with my black shorts. And my sister got her Homer slippers for $9. She also bought another gray t-shirt and a heat protection spray.

We were in our way home when we entered to a last shop and I found this pretty dress that really flattered me in terms of body shape lol. I bought it for less than $30 at Bhoga store.

And that was my day. I got home; I took a shower and went straight to bed. Such a tiring yet fun day. I love my mom when she decides to spend every cent in her daughters. So careless~! LOL

Well, have a nice day!

St. Ives Make-up remover and Facial Cleanser Review

Today I'm going to review St. Ives Fresh Skin Make-up remover & Facial cleanser. I must say I've been using this in a daily basis until I ran out of it and I'm telling you guys my experience. The package claims it gently removes make-up and cleanses skin. It says, "This cleanser effortlessly removes even the heaviest make-up while cleaning the skin". Other indications:

-Not tested on animals
-Does not contain animal ingredients
-Formulated without parabens and phthalates

I give this cleanser a 3/5.

It doesn't really remove all your make-up. After using it for a long time, I learned that the best way to apply this cleanser in order to get the best results is that after rinsing with water, you humidify some cotton and take off the rest of make-up left. So, as a make-up remover is not a great thing.

But, as a make-up cleanser is OK. I really like the soft texture of my skin after applying it. Plus, I love how eco-friendly is this brand, especially with animals.

Pros:
-Very cheap. I got it for $5.
-Leaves my skin very soft.

Cons:
-Not such good make-up remover.
-Have Mineral Oil (which some people might hate)

Repurchasing?: No. I wanna try other cleansers more effectives. And after researching about mineral oil (and its relation to breakouts), I prefer not to take risks and try other products without it.

Thanks for reading.

Nail obsession + Random selcas

Recently, I've been obsessed with nail polish. I got lots of it. But, I wasn't like this before... back in school, I wasn't allowed to use nail polish, and also my mom didn't want me to use because she thought it would damage my young nails. Well, it's true. Nail polish will damage eventually you nail if you dont treat them correctly. That's why you have to use a base coat nail foundation.

Well, anyway. I got into college and I got more freedom, that's when I got to buy nail polishes! I change my polish almost every week. These were the latest. The common french manicure I made myself and the sparkle one :) I must say I LOVE SPARKLE NAILS lol And I also bought other two more polishes to my collection.

Well, besides that my week has been pretty chaotic. Too many kpop artist coming to my country and not enough many to go to all of them OTL. I wish I were rich enough to afford all their concert tickets... But oh well. I guess I will only focus on working in order to pay my Super Junior tickets :)

Finally, I share with you guys some selcas I took few days ago. I was bored so I grabbed my camera and took pictures until it ran out of battery lol I must say it's really hard to take pictues in my bedroom because of the poor lightning, but I think i now have my fav picture-taking spot lol

Well, that's it for today. Have a nice Chinese new year ^^

More information about KHJ's arrival to Peru

Today, TU ENTRADA started selling the tickets for KHJ's fanmeeting in Lima, Peru. I went to one of outlet stores and there weren't that much of fans. By the time i left (15 minutes later) only 20 people at much bought the ticket in that store.

After that there was a meeting with the producer of the event, Alberto Menacho. He said: "It's the first time that a fanmeeting is being realized in Peru, term that K-pop artists use to refer to an intimate show with limited capacity, in which they interact with their fans and sing their biggest hists." Therefore, he added that the leader of SS501 will perform 15 songs and the concert will last 90 minutes.

He also stated that KHJ required big LED screens for the show and the light effects will be amazing as well. Kim Hyun Joong is also coming with his korean dance team in order to delight his fans.

The capacity of the stadium is 4000 people and most of the tickets are already sold (Feb 7th 15hrs). He is going to arrive Jorge Chavez airport on February 25th at early morning and there is going to be a soundcheck at 13hrs of the same day. Also, it seems that he will stay until Feb 26th in the capital.

I need lots of money now.

-UPDATE-

[FAN ACCOUNT] BIGBANG's Alive Tour in Peru

I arrived to the venue at 4.30pm aprox. We got to enter at 8pm aprox. Inside, we had to run a looong way in order to get into another queue. After going through a tunnel, we could see the REAL entry of the concert (picture 1). I got very anxious and excited because just then I realized I was entering to THEIR concert. In the way to get to the scenario, we could see some merchandising stands, but we weren’t allowed to stop our way to the hall, so we kept walking.

Then, we could see 4 different gates. Each of these was for each section of the concert. I was in the “General” section (cheapest tickets). They only checked out my bag to see if I had any drink or food. After I got in, I looked up to an empty space so I could see from my spot. I got to say that the space was sooo big. We had lots of space (even though we sold out our tickets’ section there was plenty room for more people).

There were also some merchandising stands in my section (picture 2), besides the food stands and bathrooms. There were two big screens to each side of the scenario (picture 3), which was also HUGE. People kept entering until 9pm when the concert started.

The curtains fell and we could see the 5 boys in their capsules. Still Alive was playing. Then they played “Tonight” and G-Dragon screamed: “Peru, make some noise~!” Then they kept the concert with “Hands Up”, in this song Taeyang was the one who was in the catwalk the more. G-dragon said: “Hey yo, Peru. Ready for this party?”

After this song, they talked a little bit. GD kept with his English. Seungri said “Hola” twice. And Taeyang: “Hola, amigo”. Then, when Taeyang said: “Now scream” I knew it was time for “Fantastic Baby”. After they played it, they went down the scenario.

Then they came back with “How Gee”. They entered with a type of moving car with shiny painting (picture 4)

Later, G-dragon performed one of his latest songs: “Crayon”. I never thought he would actually perform this song. Needless to say that the crowd became wild. Another song that impacted us was “High High”. TOP came also on stage to sing along with GD.

Lot more songs were played. The setlist was this:

1. Alive (intro)
2. Tonight
3. Hands Up
4. Fantastic Baby
5. How Gee
6. Stupid Liar
7. Crayon (solo G-Dragon)
8. Ppeokigayo (G-Dragon & T.O.P)
9. High High (G-Dragon & T.O.P)
10. Strong Baby (solo SeungRi)
11. What Can I Do (solo SeungRi)
12. GaraGara Go
13. Number 1
14. 2Café
15. Bad Boy
16. Blue
17. Love Song
18. Monster
19. Feeling
20. Look Only At Me (solo Taeyang)
21. Wedding Dress (solo Taeyang)
22. Wings (solo Daesung)
23. Haru Haru
24. Lies
25. Last Farewell
Encore:
26. Heaven
27. Mix of Bad Boy/Fantastic Baby/ Feeling

The concert was so lo~ng. I only expected a 1 hour concert but they performed for over 2 hours! Then, the feeling time arrived. They performed “Bad Boy”, “Blue”, “Monster” and Daesung’s solo “Wings” (he didn’t appear with his wings tho :c).

And to close the show they played “Haru Haru”, “Lies” and “Last Farewell”. These are my favorite songs from BigBang, so I was very hyper when they performed them. After this, they said goodbye. But nobody moved because we knew that there must be an encore.

Suddenly, 3 guys in black came in the scenario with crown light sticks and started to make us move our light sticks with theirs. After a couple of minutes, BB came again to perform their last songs. This time it was a complete party. They even came down the stage and could interact with their fans. Ugh, I felt so envy of the ones who were in first row haha. I wish I could have afford the highest tickets, but oh well, I guess only real VIP deserved it.

When the concert was over I felt so satisfied. I mean, money totally worth it. What a great display of fireworks, great scenario, nice setlist. Best k-pop concert of the year, I must say. And I’m not a huge fan of them haha.
