Current Kpop Love: SNSD - Lion Heart

Holi~ Hace tiempo que no me obsesiono con alguna canción de Girl's Generation. Creo que desde la era de Twinkle. En fin, hace un par de semanas, SNSD lanzó su nuevo comeback: "Lion Heart" y pues, me ha gustado mucho. Si bien la primera vez que la escuché pensé que era muy lenta para mi gusto, tipo Remember de Apink, luego de escucharla una segunda vez (viendo una presentación en vivo), se me pegó por completo ♡

La letra básicamente habla sobre una chica que se ha enamorado de un mujeriego, pero que aún sabiendo ello, así sigue queriéndolo, obviamente, deseando que él solo se fije en ella. Algo tonto, pero dicen que el amor vuelve estúpido a uno (‐ｪ‐). En fin, lo que aún no me queda claro es qué significa "Corazón de León" (?) Según la letra, parece como si el tipo tuviese un corazón grande para muchas chicas. Pero en el MV muestran a un león como el mujeriego, así que quizás sea algo literal (ﾟヘﾟ)？

Y hablando del MV, me ha encantado la fotografía del video ♡ (aunque esos colores se han vuelto muy común en el género). Y la historia del león engañando a las 8 chicas me pareció graciosa y precisa para la canción. Además la temática retro me ha gustado bastante. Y bueno, debo decir algo sobre Tiffany? SALE PRECIOSA, as always.

En cuanto al baile, creo que este no se puede apreciar del todo en el MV, pero sí en las presentaciones en vivo. Mi paso favorito es el del primer gif. Aunque debo admitir que la primera vez que las vi bailando eso pensé que se veía algo awkward xD Pero luego me dieron ganas de bailarlo. En sí, todo el baile tiene influencias retro.

Review: The Face Shop Volcanic Clay Nose Strip

Hello, guys! Well, today I'm back with another review of a nose strip. Lately I've been getting lots of white and blackheads so I wanted to give it a try to a nose strip I've bought long time ago and hadn't have the chance to use yet. It’s THE FACE SHOP Volcanic Clay Black Head Aloe Nose Strip. Quite a long name, isn’t it?

First, let’s see the specifications of the product:

“New Zealand Volcanica Clay cultivate a smooth, pposong, three-dimensional screen that can be imposing in the flawless doll skin project. It has strong blackhead and oily secretion absorption properties. Supported with pore minimizing ingredients, the Aloe Pore Strip will leave your skin feeling tight and smooth.”

How to use:

- Remove Strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use.

- After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose. The strip won’t stick on a dry nose.

- Dry hands, peel strip off plastic liner. 

- Apply to nose area, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin.

- Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch.

- Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward center.

Review:

I must say the nose strip has a nice scent/perfume that you can feel when you put it on. Also, I let it for about 20 minutes to get a better result. And I really wouldn’t mind to let it for more minutes since I didn’t feel any burn during that time (burn that I felt when using the nose pack). Also, when I had to remove it, it wasn’t painful at all. So yay to that.

Although, on the down side, I irritated one of my pores (it made it bleed) but somehow it didn’t hurt any of my nose pimples (which I was the most afraid of happening, actually).

When it comes to results, the Volcanic Clay did remove part of my blackheads, but not completely. And it didn’t do much about my whiteheads. So I’m kind of disappointed (I wanted to get Seohyun’s perfect skin, you know? LOL)

So I give this product:

I think if you have a low amount of blackheads, you should definitely try this. But if you have a considerate amount of them plus whiteheads, you should try something else. Although the no-painful experience was great.

Repurchase?: No. There are so many other products out there that I want to try and that might work better for me.

So, hopefully this review helped you to get a better idea of this product. And keep in mind that everybody’s reaction to a product is different.

Black Suede Creepers

Hi!

It's me again. I've been in exams so I couldn't update anything. But, during mid-term exams I happened to see something amazing: I saw SNSD's advertisement in a very well-known avenue of my city. And this avenue happens to be near my university and home lol Is it faith? Well, I take the same bus everyday to get to university and last week, I saw this big and new advertisement of a watch and somehow I payed attention to the models and they were Yoona, Seohyun and Tiffany from GG. And I was like OMG!! I couldn't help to smile and laugh inside the bus. I didn't have a camera so I waited until this week to take a picture of it.

And well, recently I've got my black suede creepers! I've been wanting a pair of these since years and I finally have a pair :) And I love them! Main reason: they make me 4 cms taller lol. It would be perfect if they were very comfortable to use, but I must say they are somehow tough. They hurt my feet when I use them and they are my size. But, I guess it's because they are new shoes so it will take me a while to get use to them. Hopefully they will get as comfortable as sneakers soon.

Anyway, I leave you some coordinates I used recently with my creepers. I still have LOTS of ideas of coordinates for my creepers ^^ But, I also need to buy some other things to compliment my outfits. My wishlist is loooong and I don't have the enough money to cover them all :( But somehow I'm managing to get what I want with real effort :) But, K-pop concerts are really interfering lol Recently Super Junior came, now I need to get the money for U-kiss and DBSK also confirmed they were coming so... I really need to save more money.

These hot days

The weather these days is unbearable, but that's not an obstacle to meet with friends! Last Saturday, I met Olga and Ale, both are my kpop friends :) We had lunch together, made plans for Super Junior arrival and watch the I.AM movie (well, the concert part, didn't have enough time to watch the other part u.u) And I got updated in how Olga's kpop collection got bigger. 

Last time we took a picture of our whole collection and it wasn't that big. But now, just Olga's is BIG! haha. And she has not only Super Junior and SHINee, but also some from SNSD and TVXQ. And my collection is just lightsticks :c I wish I could buy some more albums in the future just like her as well :)

Kpop Peru Festival + New acquisitions

I attended to a K-pop festival after a while. This was held last Saturday and it was FREE. There were dance covers and fan club's got their own stands. Even though it started late and it was HOT as hell that day, I spent a nice day. I went with my friend Leslie from the English institute and I got to meet some Sones. 

The funniest part for me was the presentation of the SNSD cover. The group performed "Kissing You" by Girls' Generation and it was lot of fun because we all Sone gathered and started to scream the fan chants. Everybody looked at us. Even the DJ played a little bit of "I got a Boy" (GG's last album)

Well, besides my expierence in this festival I wanted also to share with you guys my new acquisitions. The first one is my new pair of sunglasses. I simply love them, I've been looking for a pair like these since a while and after a quick visit to a mall i found them! I begged my dad to buy them until he agreed lol They were pretty cheap tho. The were less than 10$

I also got a pair of sandals by my mother. I love the animal print in it an the little ribbon in it. I think they are pretty unique and they are perfect for this bloody summer.

And a few days ago I went shopping with my mom. I was looking forward to buy some clothes but I couldn't find anything that attracted me a lot. So in the end, I only bought a bunch of accesories lol. I bought a ribbon (it's like a clip for hair), a pair of unicorn earrings (I love them since Key used them a while ago lol) and a moose/reindeer ring (finally a ring that fits to my skinny fingers! haha)

Must say that I don't have ear holes :c So I should pierce my ears these days in order to use the unicorn earrings. The thing is that my skin is kind of allergic to EVERYTHING. I can't use necklace, bracelets, earrings, etc because of it. I pierced my ears for three times in the past, but they closed after I stopped using earrings due to my allergic. The only reason why i bought these earrings it's because they are UNICORNS lol

Finally, my PUMPS! The first pair is fair black and they are shiny. I made my father buy these for me for an exposition I got lol (I also made him buy new formal clothing ᄏᄏᄏ)  I don't know what's the height of the shoe heel, but everyone in my class were surprised by the hight of the shoes lol

 I got the second pair from my mother from her trip to Brazil. They have some sort of studs and are not shiny as my other pair. But I love these since they are so~ comfortable to walk with. The only problem is that they are a size bigger than mine ᅮᅮ However, I put some cotton so I can used them haha

Korean Dance 1st Stage

Yesterday was the Korean Dance First Stage. This was basically a contest where fanclubs could win a trophee and money with their performances. Of course, as every kpop event here, there were lots of dance covers with it.

Overall, it was a pretty good event. I was really surprise that day cause it was the first time for me to be part of a fanclub in this kind of contest. I was with the SHINee fanclub. Well, there were sooo many color seas that day (and it was more beautiful at night). There were the fanclubs of Super Junior, SS501, TVXQ, EXO, SHINee, BigBang, 2NE1, 2PM, FT Island, CNBlue, Infinite, U-kiss, IU, SNSD, Mblaq, Kara and Jang Geun Suk.

When it comes to the covers, i got to say that i loved the Twinkle performance. It was so pretty and clean, the girls even got the same outfit than the TTS girls <3!. I screamed so hard the fanchants from my spot lol. There was also a cover of It's You (Super Junior), i felt so touch with it ;;

In the end, Red Ocean (fanclub of DBSK) won the trophee and the price as the best fanclub of the event. They were really amazing, but it loved the Hato Peru's performance as well. Anyway, im sharing with you the videos so you can have an idea of how cool was the event that day. See ya!

Ayer se realizó otro evento de K-pop en mi país: Korean Dance - 1st stage. Este era básicamente un concurso de barras y estuvo acompañado de presentaciones de baile y canto. Yo estuve en la barra de SHINee, la primera parte del evento y luego estuve en barra libre.

El evento estuvo genial, me emocionó ver tantos mares de colores ese día, era casi como un dream concert. Las barras que destacaron más ese día, a mí parecer, fueron las Triple S (la barra de SS501), Hato Perú (ELFs peruanas, fans de Super Junior) y las Red Ocean (Cassiopeias, barra de DBSK). Pero también estuvieron geniales las barras de EXO, SHINee, BigBang, 2NE1, 2PM, FT Island, CNBlue, Infinite, U-kiss, IU, SNSD, Mblaq, Kara y Jang Geun Suk. 

Hubieron muchos covers con grupos de bailes muy conocidos del país. Me gustaría resaltar al grupo Steely Dancer que hico una cover de It's You, se me salieron las lágrimas con este último pues no esperaba ver una cover de una canción tan antigua <3. Y al grupo de chicas que hizo la cover de Twinkle de TTS, tenían las vestimentas igualitas ;;. Y cuando ya estaba por terminar el evento, la organizadora dijo: "Chicas, como ya sabrán BIGBANG va a venir a Perú" y toda la gente loca. "Bueno, con ustedes una cover de Fantastic Baby". Y la gente murió. Fue una fiesta con esa canción. Yo saltando y chanteando a más no poder. En serio, en el concierto de BB voy a morir con esa canción, todos creo.

Ya entrada la noche, el lugar estuvo de mares de colores (por las lightsticks). Se premió a la mejor barra (TVXQ), aunque para mí hubieron 3 ganadores. En fin, fue un bonito evento. Les comparto los videos de las barras para que se den una idea de lo bonito que fue ese día. Nos vemos.

Sunny B-day

Hoy me reuní con mi amiga ELFShawol de toda la vida: Olga <3. Hace meses que no la veía y ya la estaba extrañanado. Habíamos quedado para vernos después de parciales, y eso hicimos... y qué mejor que para celebrar el cumpleaños de Sunny Bunny junto al resto de Sones. Olga es sone, yo solo soy Fanytastic (fan de Tiffany) aunque amo la música de Girls' Generation, ¡es muy pegajosa!

Today, i met my ELFShawol partner, Olga! We havent seen in such a long time. So we decided to meet each other to celebrate Sunny's birthday with the rest of Sones. Im not a particular sone, but i love GG's music. And im a fan of Tiffany, she is so gorgeous!

Bueno, el punto es que nos reunimos en el Parque Castilla (parque cerca del CC. Arenales donde se reúne la mayoría de los kpoppers a practicar coreografías y fanchants) en conmemoración del cumpleaños de Lee Sunkyu (a.k.a Sunny de GG). Empezamos la reuna presentándonos y con un concurso de Aegyo. Yo participé porque quería ganarme la gigantografía de Tiffany, pero perdí por no ser dulce. OTL.

Well, we met in Ramon Castilla park. We presented ourselves and there was a mini contest of aegyo. I participated in it cause i was trying to get Tiffany's poster but i failed. (Im not sweet, what can i do? OTL) 

Luego practicamos las fanchants de Genie, The Boys, Kissing You y Oh!. Hicieron también un concurso de coreografía, yo iba a participar, pero solo sabía Genie a medias, así que desistí. Un fanboy se llevó el póster de Fanny que quería. Bueno, se lo tenía muy bien merecido. Al menos me dejó tomarme una foto.

Later, there was also a contest in which the best dancer will received a poster of their choice. I also couldnt make it cause i can only dance half of the Genie coreography. Well, at least the fanboy that won let me take a picture of his Fanny's poster. 

Y cuando ibamos a cantarle el "Happy Birthday to you" a la gigantografía de Sunny (lol) la líder nos informó que TV Perú estaba haciendo un reportaje de K-pop y que iríamos como la barra de SNSD para estar presentes. Nosotras fuimos con buena onda a apoyar. Eran pocos fanclubs que sabían, estaba la barra de Bigbang, 2ne1, Miss A, SS501 y Beast. Los chicos de How Gee hicieron una cover de Fantastic Baby, y nosotras la chanteamos. También hubo cover de 2ne1 y Beast. El reportero nos filmó con los banners y las pancartas.

When we were about to sing "Happy Birthday to you" to the poster of Sunny (lol), the leader of the fc told us that there was peruvian journalists that were making a documentary about k-pop and that we could go and chant for SNSD. We all said, ok, let's go! There were just few fanclubs. The fc of Bigbang, 2ne1, SS501, Miss A and Beast was there. The media filmed us with the banners and signs.

Esperaré a que salga el reportaje para compartírselo y también subiré el mini vlog que grabamos con Olga ese día. Fue algo muy random, pero bueno. Fue un día muy bonito. Bueno, qué celebren un lindo día de la madre!

I'll wait until the coverage come out so i can share it with you guys. It might not be a big deal, but still. Anyway, it was really a great evening. Lots of fun today. Well, ill also post a vlog about this later. Oh, and Happy Mother's day!

[MV] Twinkle - TTS

Y hoy salió el mv del sub grupo de las Girl's Generation (TTS), conformado por Tiffany, Taeyeon y Seohyun. Twinkle es una canción tan pegajosa y tiene un toque de los 80's. He amado la canción y los outfits que ellas han usado. En especial los de Tiffany. Yo no soy muy fan de SNSD, pero sí he estado esperando esta canción. Incluso vi los teasers y todo. 

Twinkle's music video has been released today. I was really expecting this music video, it's the first time actually cause i'm not such a big fan of SNSD. But this song was so catchy and OMG Tiffany looks so gorgeous. Well, i'm sharing the video with you guys, too.

Y bueno, en estos días no podré actualizar, ya que entro en parciales, así que me encerraré con el fin de sacar buenas notas jaja. Deséenme mucha suerte, la necesitaré. Un beso.

Music Bank in Paris

Y hace unos días fue el tan esperado Music Bank en París, Francia. Diversos grupos se presentaron, entre ellos: SHINee, SNSD, Sistar, Beast, U-kiss, T-ara y 2PM. Desafortunadamente Onew, el líder de SHINee no pudo asistir por una lesión que tuvo en el tobillo, y la verdad se hizo notar su ausencia. Esperemos que se mejore pronto. La verdad no pude seguir todo el evento momento a momento puesto que andaba en prácticas y solo podía leer un par de publicaciones de SHINee Perú, ya que una shawol peruana viajó hasta Paris para asistir a este concierto. Ella llevó la bandera de nuestro país e incluso una cadena coreana la entrevistó. Pueden ver su entrevista en los videos de abajo. Soy muy feliz por ella, ya que tuvo la suerte de vivir esta experiencia.

Yo la verdad espero que se dé un Music Bank en Latinoamérica. Y si es Perú mucho mejor. Pues es más un festival ya que involucra muchos grupos. Por ejemplo en el Music Bank que hubo en Australia, asistieron como 10 grupos y fue demasiado emocionante, ya que también escucho diversos grupos, aparte de los de la SM Entertainment.

Finalmente, les comparto algunos videos del concierto, así como de su llegada y de una cobertura en general del concierto. Yo por mi parte, espero que pasen todo el concierto por cadena coreana, cosa que lo puedo ver en HD <3
