Black Suede Creepers

Hi!

It's me again. I've been in exams so I couldn't update anything. But, during mid-term exams I happened to see something amazing: I saw SNSD's advertisement in a very well-known avenue of my city. And this avenue happens to be near my university and home lol Is it faith? Well, I take the same bus everyday to get to university and last week, I saw this big and new advertisement of a watch and somehow I payed attention to the models and they were Yoona, Seohyun and Tiffany from GG. And I was like OMG!! I couldn't help to smile and laugh inside the bus. I didn't have a camera so I waited until this week to take a picture of it.

And well, recently I've got my black suede creepers! I've been wanting a pair of these since years and I finally have a pair :) And I love them! Main reason: they make me 4 cms taller lol. It would be perfect if they were very comfortable to use, but I must say they are somehow tough. They hurt my feet when I use them and they are my size. But, I guess it's because they are new shoes so it will take me a while to get use to them. Hopefully they will get as comfortable as sneakers soon.

Anyway, I leave you some coordinates I used recently with my creepers. I still have LOTS of ideas of coordinates for my creepers ^^ But, I also need to buy some other things to compliment my outfits. My wishlist is loooong and I don't have the enough money to cover them all :( But somehow I'm managing to get what I want with real effort :) But, K-pop concerts are really interfering lol Recently Super Junior came, now I need to get the money for U-kiss and DBSK also confirmed they were coming so... I really need to save more money.

Purple lace dress

Hi, again. I've been a little bit absent these days. I've been kind of busy with the paperwork of the university. My classes are going to start soon so I need to make up my schedule, need to sign up in my english classes, gym, etc. 

Anyway, today I'm sharing with you a simple look. It's a purple lace dress I got as a price some time ago and I matched it with my black pumps and some accessories. I'm using as you can see my love ring (need more black rings) and my rabbit ring.

My dog kept getting closer to me when I was taking the photos, so I took some with her. She is not photogenic, she is cuter in person lol. Anyway, anytime you call her or say photo she will look at you or at the camera lol

Tokyo Fashion Fest

I really like lots of Japan fashion styles, so I decided to attend this event in order to know a little bit more about them. The show was held at Dai Hall auditorium in APJ center. A friend and I entered as guests (thanks to my friend Kimiko Haru).

Well, the exposition of each Japanese style was very complete and well elaborated. They talked about the famous ones such as Gyaru, Lolita and Visual Kei. But, they also mentioned the new trends presented in Harajuku street, such as Fairy Kei, Pastel Goth, Creepy Cute, Mori Kei, Dolly Ice and Culty Party Kei. 

After this, there was a catwalk. It was pretty interesting because we got to see outfits of each trend. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. For example, now I'm going to research more about Pastel Goth and Creepy Cute because I've seen some of their variants in European and American fashion, so I may try a little bit of their style as well.

The event lasted for 2 hours with a 10 minute break. After that we could take pictures with the expositors and the models. I really like also the music they used during the event, for example they played PONPONPON by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. I like that song a lot, it's very sweet.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera OTL. So I only have selcas I took when I arrived home :c I'm sorry. I promise I won't ever forget again TT The pictures I'm posting are from Yu.Photography. You can check more pictures by clicking here.

I'm feeling lucky

Did I tell you that I won 2 coupons of 150 soles each to buy clothes in TheCity Mode? :D

Well, yes. I received the news last week. At first I was very shock then I just screamed like crazy. It’s very rare for me to win something, but this time luck was by my side.

Anyway, I received my coupons last Saturday. I arrived to Katherine’s home (one of the admins of the page) in the afternoon. I thought they were going to give me the coupons and I would comeback another day to swap it, but big was my surprise when she came down with two full rail mobile wardrobes. I was like: “Wow, I’m going to buy for free now”.

After trying the clothing I chose 1 maxi skirt, 2 bodies (the white one and the animal print one), 2 straps and a beautiful dress. And that’s how I spent 297 soles in a blink. And I still have 3 soles of discount for my next buy haha.

Working days...

Well, these days I've been looking for a job. I got lots of need that my parents wont pay for, such as clothing, concerts, accesories, make up, etc. So after some job interviews, I got accepted in one. So now I have to use formal clothing. My idea of formal clothing is really different from most people's idea. 

When I think of job clothes, the picture of high heels inmediately pops in my head. I LOVE high-heels not only because they make me look taller, but because they stylize you whole body. Of course, only when you use them correctly. Well, I wanna share with you the outfit I used last week for my training.

It's just a long black skirt, a white blouse and black pumps. What makes it unique? The accesories! I used neon pink necklace and my love ring. And when I was outdoors I used my cat eye sunglasses I bought last week.

I also used a sparkle nail polish. I love it! And I got it for just $1! Also, the reason why I had my hair tied is because this way it's more "formal". Anyway, after the training was over, the instructor told us that since we are going to give a speech in front of teenagers, we need to use formal pants. DAMN. I was just wondering if I could used those asimetric skirts or a pair or latex leggings. But, NO. Stupid kids.

So, I will only be able to play with my accesories, my hair and my nail polish. Well, well. At least, this is only for summer. When I get a real job, I will make sure that there is not such a boring clothing protocole :/

New outfit update

Hi.

Well, like I said before, I made some time in my agenda to take some pictures of my daily outfits. This is the one I used today. It's very simple and casual. I liked to play with the colors a little. 

I used an offbrand shorts, my Marquis black pumps, an offbrand top and a headband I made myself out of my mother's old scarf. I also used my love ring.

And that's pretty much it for this entry. I tried to make a quick update. I'll post tomorrow a review of some cosmethic so wait for it :)

Happiness is to hold flowers in both hands

Creo que me dedicaré a subir outfits de ahora en adelante LOL A menos que pase algo interesante que merezca un post en mi blog. Bueno, en cuanto al outfit... yo lo usé el primer día de clases, pero con zapatos oxford en vez de los tacos, ya que también funcionan y son más cómodos. Los shorts son antiguos, pantis invernales (tengo dos, una negra debajo y la azul encima), cardigan Basement, corset floreado (amo ese corset) y bolso-mochila marrón. 

Es un outfit muy funcional, pues el corset estiliza la figura y tal. Y debo decir, que mis piernas se ven largísimas con los tacos *.* Aunque, aún así soy chata OTL. Bueno, eso. Long time no see.

Bueno, hace una semana regresé a clases (mis vacaciones de mes y medio terminaron OTL) y he dejado esto muy descuidado, así que pasé a actualizar. En estas vacaciones, muchas cosas pasaron: me laceé el cabello (con un tratamiento de keratina muy costoso, pero sin formol), me compré (cofcofcompraroncofcof) una nueva cámara (Canon SX150 IS en color negro) y un nuevo par de gafas (rompí los otros ;;)

Y bueno, también saqué mi DNI azul (soy ciudadana, porfin), posteé un look en lookbook, no he crecido ni un solo centímetro en lo que va del año, pero bueno, esas cosas no interesan mucho. Abajo les adjunto mis fotos del antes y después c: Debería también subir fotos de como está ahora (ya ha pasado como 1 mes) ya no está tan lacio, pero sigue "lacio". 

En cuanto al blog, pienso cambiarle la skin pronto (o sea de acá a diciembre o cuando me haga un tiempo). Quiero una blanca y sencilla, siempre quize una así, pero nunca encontraba una que me convenciese. En fin, debería estar estudiando (mis cursos son muy difíciles este ciclo) pero heme aquí posteando webada y media. Bueno. Ya para irme, les dejo mi look de LB para que le den hype (o me gusta en lenguaje normal). Bye.

Looking for my summer inspiration

Estos últimos día he andado más atareada que nunca, ya que ha sido mi semana de parciales. Nótese que estoy llevando dos cursos pesados en ciclo verano, es decir, hago lo de 4 meses en mes y medio de clases, y a la tercera semana ya culminé mis parciales. Pero, ¿saben algo? lo he sentido como si ya llevase el curso por dos meses, porque todo lo que me enseñan es un montón y muy rápido. Pero bueno, todo es por terminar mi carrera en cinco años.

Pasando a otros temas, como deben de haber notado, he vuelto a cambiar la skin del blog. Ahora es una inspirada en wordpress, o algo así decía cuando la bajé. La verdad, me ha gustado mucho, aunque aún hay cosas que debo de corregir pero eso lo haré en el transcurso del fin de semana, ya que tengo un poco más de tiempo libre. Como verán ya no hay tagboard, la razón es que se llenaba de spam. Así que cualquier cosa me lo postean como un comentarios y para las afiliaciones, postean de la sección de Affiliates. Asimismo agregué un traductor, para los extranjeros que también leen mi blog (estoy pensando seriamente en empezar a escribir todo en inglés).

Y en cuanto al título de la entrada en sí, en Perú el verano llegó y el calor se hace sentir con fuerza y más en Febrero. Y con el calor llega la renovación de mi armario, ya que una se debe actualizar cada temporada. El problema es que mi sentido de la moda, al momento de vestirme, incluye usar muchas prendas, lo que en verano es muy incómodo. Por ello, recurrí a lookbook.nu, que es una web en la que básicamente la gente publica sus outfits diarios. Me parece una muy buena fuente de inspiración, ya que puedes encontrar todo tipo de vestimentas, y con ello encontrar el tipo que vaya más de acorde a tu estilo.

En mi caso, soy una persona que prefiere los shorts sobre los jeans. Así que usé eso como método para seleccionar algunos estilos que me gustarían intentar este verano. Pero también caí en la cuenta de que necesito un par de prendas y zapatos que no cuento, por lo que tendré que juntar para comprarlos. Además que deseo lacear mi cabello y teñirlo, pero aún no me decido por ciertos riesgos que esto podría traer para mí en el futuro.

En fin, esta entrada es un poco corta pero es que la escribo después de llegar de mi examen de Cálculo 2, y ando agotada porque no he dormido mucho en la semana. Les dejo algunas fotitos que me parecieron demasiado geniales.

Photoshoot

Esta entrada era para hace un mes, pero la flojera y el olvido hizo que al final no la pudiese publicar hasta hoy. Bueno, con Evelyn decidimos hacer un intento de photoshoot, el lugar mi depa, también con el motivo de que lo conociese y hablasemos de las que cosas que habíamos hecho en las últimas semanas y tal. Cuando llegamos, empezamos a ver en que cuarto sería la sesión de fotos, que outfits usaríamos y tal. Después de tres horas y muchos flashes terminamos. De ahí, como para descansar fuimos por unos helados a Plaza.

Fue muy divertida esa mañana, aunque yo tiendo ser un poco tímida a las cámara y el hecho que mi mejor amiga me tomara las fotos tampoco ayudaba lol Pero ella al menos posaba bien y yo soy buena para calcular los angulos y tal. Al final terminamos con unas 10 fotos que valían la pena. Aún solo subo dos, pero planeo subir las demás cuando me de tiempo. En fin, entrada corta. Gyaru stile

Bueno, en los últimas semanas he empezado a sentir cierta atracción por la moda Gyaru. La encuentro interesante, por el estilo que intentan plasmar al vestir: darse a notar entre el resto. Y bueno, planeo seguirla en el futuro, pero primero debo seguir investigando más acerca de este estilo de vida, pues aun me falta aprender mucho. Por eso me gustaría pedir la ayuda de ustedes, si me pueden dar consejos acerca del Gyaru, los Do and Don't.

Empiezo diciendo lo que más me gusta de esta moda. Primero que nada, el cabello. Siempre quise teñir mi cabello de algún tono castaño o marrón rojizo. Pero primero debo dejarlo crecer más, pues aún lo tengo por el cuello. Y tengo un tedioso cerquillo que corte yo misma en año nuevo, está todo disparejo y como mi cabello tarda mucho en crecer estoy que lo lavo interdiario para ver si crece de una buena vez. Nunca se corten el cabello por su cuenta, si no saben cómo. Pensaba en algún corte como la primera imagen. Además que son bien cómodos y se ven geniales con casi todo tipo de outfit.

Ahora, el maquillaje. Amo el make-up que usan las chicas gyaru. Me recuerda bastante a las que usan las cosplayers asiáticas, y las ulzzang, pero supongo que todas ellas buscan lo mismo: Ojos grandes que destaquen. Primero, debo comprar las pestañas postizas, que igual iba a necesitar para otras cuestiones, delineador líquido, nueva base, pues compré una cuando estaba super bronceada, pero con el invierno recuperé gran parte de mi palidez, necesito una base que se vea más natural en mí. Corrector, polvos y lipbalm. Muchas cosas que comprar, y poco dinero. Necesito ahorrar now.

El bronceado. No me gusta mucho como las chicas se tienen que broncear artificialmente, personalmente no lo encuentro saludable. Pero pues supongo que ellas no tienen opción ya que su color de piel natural es un blanco lechoso y si se lo intentan broncear, terminarían con la piel rojiza en vez de una anaranjadita o marroncita. Supongo que por ser latina, mi color de piel está bien. Solía ser más pálida, pero con el verano del año pasado, aún poseo un bronceado ok, jaja.

Los scarf-ribbon. Amo ese accesorio, pero aun no le agarro el truco. Encontré un tutorial, e intenté practicarlo en casa, pero se me caía o me salía muy flojo :/ No sé si alguien tiene un truco para este accesorio, que pueda compartir conmigo. Creo que intentaré agarrarlo con unos clips a mi cabello o con pegamento xD No mentira. Para los que no saben qué es una scarf ribbon, pueden ver ejemplos en la segunda imagen.

Ahora, lo que no me gusta. La foxy-tail, simplemente no la paso. Como sabrán, soy animalista, y ese accesorio me da terror. Aunque sea falsa, porque debe serlo, no? simplemente no me gusta y creo que nunca usaría. Pero no critico los gustos de otros. Ahora, los circle lenses, sé que muchas gyaru las usan para tener un efecto más pop-up en sus ojos, pero creo que no me compraría unas, o no unas muy grandes. Pues me gustan mis ojos del tamaño que son y creo que usándolos se me vería muy rara la cara XD Pero sí quiero lentes de contacto de color. Hace mucho que quiero unos grises, supongo que también podría comprarme unos de color caramelo o esmeralda.

Y bueno, eso es todo lo que manejo ahora ;_; Cualquier consejo, corrección, opinión es bien recibida :) Con respeto claro.

Día de compras

Cuándo comprar se volvió tan díficil? Yo recordaba que cuando iba de compras con mi madre a los 12, 13, quería comprarme todo. Pero el sábado, me di cuenta que mis gustos han cambiado drásticamente desde la última vez que fui de compras, el año pasado. Me pasé 5 horas, para solo comprar 4 prendas. Cinco Horas! Y eso, que si no hubiese entrado a la última tienda, me iba con las manos vacías. Pero pues, yo creo que la larga caminata y los 100 soles, lo valieron. Amo mis nuevas adquisiciones. Y como no tengo ganas de agarrar el libro de física para dar una última repasada antes de mi examen de mañana, hablaré de ellas. Pueden dejar de leer si desean LOL

La primera prenda que conseguí, el top manga con animal print, fue una ganga, pues estaba con descuento de 80%. Y ya cuando me disponía a tomar el bus, decidí repasar por última vez una tienda de nuevo. Encontré una sección que estaba con 50% off. Así que empecé a seleccionar las que estaban a precio aquesible y se veían atractivas. Al final me quedén con tres prendas: la blusa de color bonito, el top floreado y el polo con el detalle de corazón. Yo estaba feliz pues mi padre accedió a pagarme las tres sin regaños. Así que mi día de compras resultó ser un éxito. Adjunto la foto de mis nuevas adquisiciones.

Oh! y hoy ya es 14, entre otras cosas, los chicos de SJM ya anunciaron que su album comeback se llamará "Perfection" y este contará con la participación de Eunhyuk y Sungmin *.*! No puedo esperar hasta el 25!

Fashion & Stuffs

The past days i was pretty bussy with my english classes. And in the way to the institute i could aprecciate the outfits of the girls over there. I learned a lot. From shoes to shirts. So, when i got home i was looking for some clothes that could go together. The results were pretty lame because i could only found a couple of outfits. And those still needs some shoes, purses and accessories.

All this remind me that you need money in order to have a good outfit. Or at least a varied wardrobe. I little bit upset with this i decided to research a little bit on flickr. I used to use iheart, but flickr its a good resource as well. All of this made me want to have a pro camera again. So it all came down to the fact that i need money. Really disappointing i must say. But who cares, i will still trying.

Oh another thing, i want long hair. And i want to dye it as well LOL
